Increase Traffic with Blog Carnival Submitter

Increase Traffic to your Websites by Submitting Blog Articles to Blog Carnivals

Article Marketing is a very important traffic generation method that have been discussed all the time. We have also heard of Blog and RSS feed Submitter to get traffic. But this is something really new that I have just come across, the concept of getting traffic through Blog Carnivals.

What is a Blog Carnival

As explained in Wikipedia, a blog carnival is a type of blog event. It is similar to a magazine, in that it is dedicated to a particular topic, and is published on a regular schedule, often weekly or monthly. Each edition of a blog carnival is in the form of a blog article that contains permalinks to other blog articles on the particular topic.

Blog Carnival posts are generally collated by the author by soliciting relevant contributions from interested people. The author collects links to these submissions, edits and annotates them and publishes the resulting round-up to his or her blog. Many carnivals have a home page or principal organizer, who lines up guest bloggers to host each edition. This means that the carnival travels, appearing on a different blog each time.

Blog Carnival Traffic

Communities of blog readers, writers, and edition hosts form around specific carnivals. The carnivals provide an aggregation of recent posts by the community on a given topic, and the host provides a level of editing and annotation that helps readers find posts they are interested in. Writers who submit their articles to blog carnivals are rewarded with traffic (if the host decides to give them a link and, perhaps, a positive review).

Blog Carnival List

Blog carnivals are being launched all the time from different blog owners for different topics. You can find the list of updated blog carnivals at BlogCarnival.com

Browse through the huge list and find suitable carnivals, with related topics with your blog and submit your related blog post to these carnivals. Since there can be many blog carnivals with similar topics occurring at the same time, you will want to maximize your effort by submitting to as many of these blog carnivals as possible. However, the process of going through the list of carnivals and submitting your blog posts to each and everyone of them can take an awful lot of time.

I was lucky to come across this new Blog Carnival Submitter Software which has a function that easily lets you find related carnivals using a keyword search and lets you submit your articles to ALL the related blog carnivals ALL at ONCE!

What to Submit to Blog Carnivals

Submitting content or articles to Blog carnivals are a little different than submitting articles to Article Directory. With article directories, you do not really need to host your article in your own website or blog and simply include a link to any websites you wish.

With Blog Carnivals, you will need to actually submit articles that are hosted in your blog/website. In other words, you are not submitting articles but submitting a link to your blog posts that contains the articles.

You can enter the URL of your blog posts into Blog Carnival Submitter and submit them to ALL related carnivals all at once hence saving the repeating time consuming process of doing it one by one. You can also submit more than one blog post to ALL carnivals ALL at ONCE.

OverUse Warning:

Remember not to make the mistake of submitting too many articles to the same blog carnivals at once. On my first attempt of using carnival submitter, being too excited with the new software and didnt actually think it could work. I submitted more than 10 articles/blog posts to several carnivals. The process took only “seconds” to complete.

I didnt realize I have made a huge mistake until I saw the result of my submission in my email (seen in the picture above). Each line of email response is for one blog carnival topic, as you can see the submissions are instant and can easily be OverUsed. In addition to the email responses above, I also received a frustrated response from the carnival owner receiving too many blog posts submissions to her carnival. It was really my own fault to have done that. My deepest apologies if you are reading this :-(

Blog Carnival Submitter Review

Having used and seen the results of the new Blog Submitter software, it is proven that the software can save us a lot of time in submitting our blog articles to blog carnivals events.

But remember to use the carnival submitter as a tool to submit good articles / blog posts to blog carnivals and DO NOT overuse it to spam the carnivals. If you have submitted a good post, you will be rewarded by carnival owners with a link back to your blog post and generate unlimited traffic for years to come.

Hence it is definitely a good tool to have to enhance your article marketing, search engine optimization and traffic generation effort.

Hi there. I enjoyed reading about Blog carnival. I have just started using a manual submitter – one that I am impressed with.

Although, I have my reservations about automated submission softwares. Yes they are indeed instantaneous. My concerns lie in the hundreds, if not thousands, of instant backlinks to ones website or blog. I personally believe submitting automatically to hundreds of directories at once resulting in my blog’s page rank to plummet from 2/10 to 1/10 overnight. I take it this is the sort of thing you are warning about with ‘overuse’ above, isn’t it?

Thanks for the review on the blog carnival submitter software. Before reading this post/site, I was totally unaware of a blog carnival.

    Sincerely,

    Hi Daniel,

Page ranks do not usually drop overnight. Google updates page ranks of websites regularly on specific periods of time.

Submitting to article directories and blog carnivals are much different from submitting the usual web directories that you are referring to.

Since your articles will be posted by blog owners to their blogs or websites from your submissions, they will spread out gradually giving you a natural link back to your websites which is healthy way to grow your links especially when your articles will be posted to related blogs.

If all the anchor text that links to your website is based on ONE keyword and they are ALL linked to your MAIN page, then it is unnatural and your website may be penalized for that.

With articles submissions you may include link to your website with a different anchor text and to different pages of your websites. With blog carnival submission, the carnival owner may link to your post with different anchor text.
