Why choosing the right auto responder email service is Important

As we all know using email marketing is one of the cheapest effective way to market products and services for business owners as well as affiliate marketers.

All internet marketers will use some kind of email reply system such as email newsletter software also known as autoresponder software or email marketing company service provider such as Getresponse and Aweber to manage subscribers emails and to send the emails. Some uses softwares or scripts but most use monthly services by service providers. There are pros and cons of each and many have argued which one is more effective. ( you will find the answer below ) I personally had a hard time choosing between the 2 choices:

1. Use a script or software - pay only one time! about $37 to $147 depending on which software you purchased and use forever for as many websites as you wish but need to learn to install.
2. Use service provider – pay monthly! about $17.95 per month, no installation needed, easy to start, more reliable but with monthly costs.

I chose the second option at first (with Getresponse) since I wanted to start quickly since they have a FREE limited option for me to try out and I did not want to waste my time learning how to install scripts on my server UNTIL….

… my subscribers list shot up to 50.000 and my bill went up to $53.95 a month as you can see below $17.95/month plus additional charges for +40.000 subscribers $36:

Then I went looking around for autoresponder software or scripts to use as I didnt want pay this much! UNTIL…

… I received these emails from a respected internet marketer who uses script rather than service. You can see from the snap shot below of the emails I received from the same internet marketer. They were 1 month late! Two obvious emails you can see are:

1. Red Packet promotion (Chinese New Year) email which was dated 06 February on the original email received on March 15!
2. Valentine’s Day Promotion dated 15 February received on March 15!

Imagine your promotions all wasted just because your email marketing newsletter software did not deliver on time. How many sales will you lose, all your time wasted organizing the promotions.

In conclusion, I just have to pay for my monthly service for now until someone creates a better reliable software since the returns will be much greater than the costs
