As may have realized apart from the internet, another hot media right now is mobile phones.
Since almost everyone on this modern society has a handheld mobile phone with them all the time, this media should be considered as part of your marketing strategy. (I posted on my find of a mobile video site – Hooqs the other day.)
To transform your web contents to mobile friendly may not be an easy task especially if you are not a web designer until now…
I discovered from my social power linking a new FREE service from FeedM8 where you can submit your blog RSS feed to the network and they will transform your feed into mobile friendly format for your readers.
You will get a feedM8 URL for you to refer to your mobile reader to your mobile blog. If you have your own domain, you can even redirect a subdomain to your mobile blog. I have created an example where I created http://mobile.bobmarketing.com which directs to my feedM8 URL. Click the link to seen the live example of my instant mobile blog!
You will also be given a code to include in your wordpress blog header where it will automatically detects if your visitor is surfing with a handheld mobile and turns your contents to mobile friendly!
On top of this, FeedM8 also allows you to make money from their service, as you noticed in my mobile internet marketing blog, there are sponsored links at the top and bottom of my contents. FeedM8 are supposed to share this revenue with you and when you refer others, you will also receive a bonus. Honestly, I am not expecting much from this. I am just happy to be able to use FeedM8 Free service to provide a friendly mobile blog for Free.
Another great feature of feedM8 (FREE) is that your visitor will also be able to subscribe to your content with SMS text alerts to their mobile phones.
