Interesting Firesale Strategy
Internet Marketing Firesale Strategy Twist
Have you ever seen or participate in an Internet Marketing Firesale?
I just saw a different twist to a Firesale from Dustin Bow & Jason Dolman in their Christmas Firesale.
You see a firesale is usually launched in a way that lasts for a limited period of time – usually very short like 7 days of sale. Internet marketers usually use a firesale script that makes the price goES uP every day, hour, minutes or even seconds.
The script will make the price go up that will help trigger urgency to purchase, this is a very good strategy and when done correctly with the right products, it will help generate sales. Nobody wants to pay more than the original price right?
However, the Firesale Twist here done by Dustin Bow & Jason Dolman in their Christmas Firesale is truly interesting and you should check it out. What they did is: setting the firesale price to DEcrease every second until someone BUYS!
So this is truly a SALE! So you are buying at less than the original price.
Ok.. you might think, then nobody will buy? People will just wait for it to drop till zero, or maybe one dollar! And you may be right, ok the twist here is that, if someone clicks to purchase, the price will go back up to the original price.
So it’s like an auction going the other way! The first person to click on the falling price will win the offer and the offer will go back to the original price! Interesting? Watch it in action, the offer will end in 12 days from today. You will also see the urgency script in action on the left of the page that will follows as you scroll down the page.
After that, you may not be able to see this strategy in action again.
